Bluetooth question

Last year I had a VZW Fascinate. One thing that drove me nuts was the fact that the Bluetooth had to be activated manually every time I turned the car on for the handsfree or BT audio. Is that the case for the SGS2?

Maybe it's been fixed on the Fascinate, but I don't know since I've away from Android for awhile, and stuck in the Blackberry Black Hole.

Hmm, I've had both a Captivate and now the SGS2 and in my car they both auto-connected when I started the car. The bluetooth had to be on already (I always leave bluetooth on my phone active), so that soon as I start my car and the car's bluetooth scanned for devices it would see my phone and connect.

If you have the actual bluetooth radio turned off on your phone then it will always be a manual process. A paired device won't turn on your bluetooth, it will only pair if it's already turned on (this might sound basic, but I've seen that mistake in the past from others).
