Bluetooth scan / refresh

I always leave BT enabled on my phone (b/c I am lazy) and power off my headset when I do not need it. When I power on my headset I either need to power toggle BT on my phone or go into the menu and manually scan for my device so it will connect. It there an app/widget that will scan for BT devices that I can throw on one of my screens?

I searched the market but I can only find apps that toggle BT power, nothing that will initiate a scan for devices.
