Bluetooth shutting down with Gear S3 watch

I've had this happen a couple times now and it seems like the problem might be on the phone's end. I've noticed the BT connection isn't running when I try to use it with my car or Gear S3 watch.

I can turn it on just fine but then I can't get the pairing with my watch to work anymore unless I reboot the phone.

Is there anyone else here having a similar BT issue or using this phone with a Samsung watch?

If I had to guess I think it may be related to the watch going out of range with the phone.

No issue at my end.

Try "forgetting the BT connections" to your watch and car. Reboot your phone and re-pair and see if that helps.

Thanks, I've done that already. Although that does usually fix most BT connection issues.

Doing that isn't too bad but it also forgets the smart lock setting.
