Bluetooth streaming skipping on 4.4?

Ever since the KitKat update (Verizon), my bluetooth streaming has been skipping/stuttering to the point where I can't use it anymore. I never had this issue prior to the update. I've done a factory reset and everything but nothing has changed.

Is this a known issue with the update? I've Googled this issue and people were having it with older versions of Android, but it was supposed to be fixed in KitKat. I'm having the complete opposite problem.

As far as I know, there is no fix on the user end for this problem. Anyone?

So I'm guessing no one else has this issue then on 4.4?
