Bluetooth Volume locked?

I got my N5 a couple days ago and the only problem I'm having is the bluetooth volume randomly locking up. In volume under settings, the media volume is completely locked up and can't be adjusted. I have no idea why this happens. My main headphones are bluetooth so I can't listen to anything.

edit: figured it out. muting tiny tower mutes my whole phone for some god damn reason.

What is "Muting Tiny Tower"? I've seen this issue before and a reboot always helped.

The game Tiny Tower. It apparently hijacks my volume. The notifications are extremely annoying so I mute them. For some reason turning the volume down on tiny tower locks that level in across the system. I'm guessing that other programs do this too.
