Blutooth tether

I have a rooted Incredible with the Wireless tether application. Has anyone tried to share their phone's 3g data with the galaxy tab over blutooth? I was able to pair the tab and Incredible at the Verizon store, but for some reason they would not connect. Thanks for the help.

My Wireless Tether app work on my DI works great. Are you trying that one or the 3G Hotspot?

I think he was talking about using like PDAnet with Bluetooth with the Tab not any type of wifi type app?

i haven't gotten bluetooth to work, but i did get my incredible to wifi tether with my tab. i am rooted on inc and installed wireless tether for root uses. it works great

I just tried to use PDAnet and I couldnt get it to work. I was able to pair the two devices thou. Since with root you get wireless tether I have no need for PDAnet.

I am also using Wireless tether for root. The wifi tether was easy, but at my work they monitor for non-authorized wifi hotspots. So I was trying to get the blutooth tether to work. Managed to get the tab and Dinc paired, but on the Dinc it said "paired, not connected". Not sure how to get the two to connect so the tab can use the Dinc 3g data over Blutooth.

They monitor for unauthorized hotspots? Do you work for a government agency or something? That sucks....

Did you have to use any special settings? My tab won't recognize my dinc's ssid
