BodyGuardz tempered glass screen protectors

I purchased my first tempered glass screen protector and put it on and took my time and followed directions. The cleaning cloth that comes with it leaves more debris on the screen then it started with. I used scotch tape and finally got the phone screen clean. Lined it up the screen protector and pushed it down and watched it adhere. The screen went on perfectly....except right under the top speaker on the left side. There is a bubble to the bottom left side of the top speaker. I have tried holding it down and using a hair dryer. Nothing works. So I took it back to AT&T and had them take it off and put a new one on. They did not do a better job than me and it too has the same bubble that mine had. Is this an issue with the tempered glass screen protector or should I try a third time?

I just spent some time Googling for the best screen protector and I saw multiple complaints about BodyGuard. I decided to go with Spigen non-glass for now (cheap). If it fits well, I will keep it. If not, gonna buy Orzly (decent feedback)

I am a little ocd and this is bugging the heck out of me....45 dollars I would expect better.

Did you register the screen protector with the company? For lifetime warranty.

Glass isn't forgiving. All it takes is a slight defect in the glass, phone or protector, and you're screwed.

I had a TG on my Nexus 5 and there was a little spot on the bottom left that wouldn't go away no matter what I did.

So I just said f it... and stopped caring

Yes I registered it even before I installed it.

Maybe the company would make the protector all over again and offer a free replacement.

I know everyone here hates zagg, don't throw rocks at me. But I have yet to have a problem with their glass protectors. I have one on my Note 4 now and it's perfect. I had to be patient and smooth out a bubble on the left side, but it eventually (2-4 hours after install) went away. I spent about >5 minutes installing and smoothing out the bubble.

Thanks for the feedback. Can you post a picture?

Odd, I've used nothing but ZAGG for years and recommend only ZAGG to everyone I know. I haven't used one of their glass protectors yet, it looks like that's all they'll offer for the Nexus 6, but their plastic protectors have been nothing short of perfect for me on 3 different of my own phones and a good half dozen that I've put on phones and tablets for other people.

Orzly finally ships with prime. I ordered one and should be here Tuesday. 14 bucks is not bad.

Have a zagg glass on my 6+ and it is fine, but expensive. It was the only one out when I got my iPhone. I have also used the brand PThink with good results.

Just got the BodyGuardz anti-glare pure glass and installed it. None of the issue referenced above below the speaker cutout, fits like a second skin. And really eliminates the glare.

Looks nice overall but I do see a lift at the end of the top speaker. It looks like with these curved edge screens it's pretty much impossible to have a good looking screen protector. It's either lifting or so small that it looks ugly.

I signed up. I've used them all and Zagg is the best of the bunch. This phone is a PITA for protectors so hopefully Zagg gets it right. I currently have crystals from Spigen and you cannot be 1mm off in any direction because you'll get lift and have dust get trapped underneath.

In every other picture I've seen where people have commented on lift, there's been a much larger section. When near the speakers, it's typically been on the horizontal line framing it. On mine, it's just a tiny piece on the very short vertical ends of the speaker, on the inward corners of the protector (it's noticeable on the bottom as well). It's not perfect, but it's far, far better than the others I've seen.

The Pleson one I tried had the exact same issue, as shown in this post in the Accessories subforum (the Pleson is actually a heck of a deal, being only $9 shipped from Amazon and fitting pretty much as well as the Bodyguardz above).
