Hi all,

So I rooted and flashed BAMF 1.3, and now it seems like I have 3 problems:

#1
I have an AOL account. Before rooting/flashing I could send and receive emails fine. Now, it seems like I'm only able to receive. When I try to send, it looks as if I send it, but then when I come home to my PC, nothing is in the "sent" folder (that, and no one replies to the emails I send from my Thunderbolt).

#2
When someone calls or when I dial a number, I don't have the area (city, town, etc.) indicated during the call. This used to happen before I rooted/flashed, but now all it displays is the number (or name if it's a programmed contact). This may seem minor, but this feature is EXTREMELY helpful to me as a freelancer.

#3
Whenever I turn the phone off and plug it in to the wall to charge it (say, if I want to bump charge), the phone boots up into Clockworkrecovery (ie, it doesn't stay shut off). I'd REALLY like to have it stay off -- both for the quicker charging time, and, well, just to keep my phone off at night, for example.

Can anyone PLEASE help??

I can't comment on the first two but 3 is a known and common problem. I think everyone has that problem. If you turn you phone off, unplug it until its completely off and then plug it back in.

Number 2 I believe is the city ID app that came preinstalled. It's a demo and must be purchased after the trial period is over.

#2 is due to cityID. It was Verizon bloatware that was more than likely taken out of your operating system when you flashed this Rom

Gotcha... thanks for the replies. I got #1 worked out :)

Also, is there a good free alternative to cityID?

If you enable fast boot

menu > settings > power

it should take care of #3.

Any1 care to explain what "fast boot" is. I know where its located but haven't activated it
