This phone looks like it might be promising.
A price tag similar to the V, too.

If the processor is better I might switch.
Hopefully it also develops a nice community. Can't live on stock >_<

Thankfully the V went up and price and I could probably resell for about what I initially bought it for.

specs are vague at the moment.
The downer is the 2MP cam.
Hopefully it's RevA

Anyone else thinking of switching?

Boost is $50 a month. I'm on the $40 with VM, not much change.
I hope they don't do what Sprint does, charging premium data.

you know the V has some pretty good roms out.

like a nice stable version of Gingerbread 2.3.3? the only other phone to have that is the Nexus S right now so id say were pretty lucky.

also its fast, stable, works well, and is updated often.

you know you wont see any the first day of the Prevails release, heck, maybe not for a month or more.

Yea, I'm rocking Rodimus.
The mms is the kicker though on AOSP.
Glad there's progress though :D

About the Ginger, Nexus One and S are the only one to have official 2.3.
My Nexus, Evo and HD2 all had cm7 pretty stable.
I'm glad AOSP came over from heroc. His aospfroyo was awesome.

I hope Boost doesn't do what VM did and raise the price after a few weeks.

Hands-On at BGR

I've heard that it has the same 800Mhz as the Intercept, don't know if that is a good thing of not.
Sounding less awesome.

You're right. This phone felt like an upgrade from the Hero even on virgin stock.
I've seen the intercept, am not a fan :/

I was looking forward to this phone but I used to have vm intercept and it was really slow. If it has the same cpu as the intercept I will pass. And Im loving the 25 a month :)

This may not be a phone to compete with the Optimus, but for Boost customers it will definitely be an upgrade from the i1. What made Boost think they could put an android phone on the iden network. The Prevail runs 2.2 as opposed to a nonupgradable 1.5, and it runs on their CDMA network. Combine this with being less than half the price for twice the phone and I'll bet a lot of Boost customers will be buying this one.
