Anyone know where i can find this exact Boot animation? and do i install it same way as i would a custom rom.

1. Put in root
2. Boot to recovery
3. Flash it

and thats it? this will be first time i download just a boot animation. i normally use the one that come with the rom.

and i left a youtube comment but the creator hasn't posted a message in over a month

i have done some research and seems like that file is no where to be found, not even on XDA.

Your link wouldn't work on my evo. So as of now I can't help with that.

However that zip isn't flashable. You will have to put it in data/local.
Either by ADB, terminal emulator, or a file manager like root explorer. Something to get deeper into the system.

i got it. guy over at XDA was nice enough to make it into a flash file. im backing up as we speak and let you know how it goes

Cool. I notice in that link I sent there was a flashable. Let me know if sound is involved or not. Never had the bootanimation in a flashable file. Old school I guess

yeah it worked fine but no sound. i just gave the guy a heads up ..

i wish everything in the world was flashable lol literally doesn't get any simpler
