Boot Loop Data Recovery? Selling on eBay.

Selling my wifes boot looped 6P on eBay and I want to make sure the guy who does the "'un-doing" of the bootloop doesnt take all of her data and go on a spending spree.

From all the info I've read on how to "bring the phone back to life", is it wipes all the data off when you flash a new ROM.

Thought I'd check with all you smarty pants before I ship it off.

Apparently you cannot even get into Recovery mode to perform a Factory reset?

I can get into recovery mode, but when I click to do the factory reset, the bootloop begins again with the white word "Google" on the black background.

And the bootloader is also locked (I didnt unlock it on my wifes phone before it began to bootloop.

Well you're pretty much out of luck then.
On a positive note the file system should be encrypted so it's less likely that someone will get at your data.
I hope your eBay sale advertises this problem...
