So here's the situation. I was on the kang bang rom and decided i wanted to switch to resurrection. I installed the stock eh09 kernel and the resurrection v1.0 at first. everything seemed to be working fine. So then i downloaded the v1.2 patch and installed via sd card and got force closes when unlocking the device. So i tried to reinstall the v1.0 and got nothing but boot loops...Then i decided it would be a good idea to try and just flash over with kangbang again to solve the problem..result? boot loops...how the hell do i get out of this predicament? thanks for the help...

ODIN back to stock is always a safe bet. I ran into the same boot loop hell recently, and that was my solution, and it worked. It's a pain to go back to stock and start all over, but it's better than not having a phone! There may be other easier/quicker fixes, but I am not sure what those might be.

Thanks for the response! luckily i was able to get out of it and i "succesfully" installed resurrection..however i lost my data connection and can't seem to get it back...

You need to ODIN back to stock or ODIN a new radio to try and fix the data issue. As for installing TSM Res, you need to be running a full EH09 or E120 ROM for it to work. What I did when I installed is flash GeeWiz 2.1 first, then flashed TSM Res over that. Other than the random reboots, everything worked perfectly.
