Bootloader not unlockable on AT&T version

It'll happen, I'm sure. Same thing happened with the Vivid.

I've got 30 days to return this and if they don't figure out how to unlock it by then I will be returning the phone. I'm going to keep a close eye on this one.

I canceled my pre-order. If my phone is going to be locked down by the carrier I might as well keep my iPhone and not renew my contract just yet. When/if AT&T changes their stance on the bootloader I'll reconsider buying the phone.
