Hey guys i'm having trouble getting my phone to boot back up to the system after using the factory image restore of the new 4.2.2 build off of googles website. I was on rooted 4.2.1 stock with twrp installed and I tried to use the new 4.2.2 image restore and now im just stuck in a bootloop. I used this guide http://forums.androidcentral.com/ne...3923-guide-nexus-4-factory-image-restore.html The only difference is that I changed the fields to the new file names. I also tried using the flash-all.bat script and still no luck. Any ideas why i'm in the ridiculous situation?? Please help me out guys!!

EDIT: Found the solution on my own. For those that also encounter this issue, boot into stock recovery after using a factory restore img and do a factory reset. Profit.

Mods please close this thread. Solved.

I'm having the same issue. Unfortunately, your suggestion about booting into stock recovery isn't working...can't boot into it. I'm just getting the android with the red exclamation mark...

Sounds like something went wrong when you flashed the full factory image. Try flashing recovery.img separately. Edit: follow the final faq step in the flashing factory image guide.

Thanks, I did try that (flashing each component of the image separately). No dice.
I gave up and used Wug's toolkit. It got me back up to 4.2.1 so that I could flash the 4.2.2 update (instead of the full image).
I guess I'll have another look at it after KLP comes out.

ok, I think something is wrong with my phone...now CWM is no longer working. Seems like the phone is incapable of holding any recovery
