AC Question

So I sent my LG G4 to be fixed by LG because it was bootlooping, and supposedly the issue is because the screen is a little bit cracked (the smallest crack possible, its smaller than a penny) on the top left of the phone, which is completely (excuse my language, I'm quite mad at LG) bull**** because that isn't what causes the phone to bootloop. Either they're completely oblivious that my phone is bootlooping, which would be stupid because on the repair form I specifically told them that was my issue, or they're just trying to scam me out of my money so that they can make me think that the small little crack on my phone is the issue.

Did you request the repair online? When I did mine, I picked Power Issue and I think sub-category Phone does not turn on or something like that. And in the detail description, I put down something like "The phone is getting the bootloop issue everyone else got."

It got me the free shipping label and free repair even though it was already out of the 1 year warranty period.

Yes, picked the power issue and that the phone doesn't turn on. In the detailed description I put that the phone was bootlooping. I got the shipping label and sent them my phone but whenever they sent me the repair cost it said that they were gonna fix the screen, which is not what I wanted, It didn't even mention fixing the bootloop (e-mail). I don't even know what to do at this point.

I think I would try to call them or live chat to figure out what's going on. After I ship my phone in, I got emails saying they received the phone. And the next email I got was that it was repair and shipped back to me with tracking number. None of the LG email mention anything about the bootloop. I did put a sheet of paper with the phone saying that the phone is stuck in a bootloop when powering up.

Just sent my second one on to be repaired because it died. Hopefully they fix it with no issues
