BoozeHound is a Location-Aware social networking tool for finding alcohol specials in your city. Users post specials they find at businesses around the city which appear in your Booze Stream, from newest to oldest. Other users can verify or disclaim specials entered, to help inform others when users have entered inaccurate or falsified data.
So whether you want to see all recent specials users have entered, or browse specials for businesses closest to your current location (and even alphabetically), BoozeHound has you covered!
Don't see the business you're looking for in our database? Easy, add it yourself! Launch Google Maps or Google Places, find the business location you'd like to add, and 'Share' it with BoozeHound. BoozeHound then does a reverse-geocode on the address to capture Latitude and Longitude so we can accurate calculate its distance from your current location when viewing our Businesses in the future.
Don't see your City on the Login page? Easy, add a Business in your City to BoozeHound and your City will be added as well!
BoozeHound is in a very early, primitive state, and that's why we need YOU to help us grow our user-base and data. Users are assigned points based upon the # of businesses they add and # of times people either Verify or Disclaim specials they've posted.
