Now when someone calls me, they don't get my message, they get a lady telling them to enter the number they were trying to dial. When they enter my number then they get my voicemail. Anyone have any idea on how to straighten this out?
I googled around and was not able to find any sort of fix that worked. Finally just bit the bullet and *38 back to Sprint's visual voice mail. If anyone figures out what the hell went wrong, and how to fix it, let me know.
There probably is a problem with Sprint's Conditional Call Forwarding. I believe this setup relies on the Sprint caller ID showing your number to Google. If the Caller ID number isn't showing up, the caller has to input the number so Google's system knows where to direct the call.
That may be, but I did switch to YouMail, and then wanted to switch back. It seemed to work before I made the switch to YouMail. I dunno, the text translationsa weren't terribly useful anyway. I'll stick with VVM. Thankls for the response though!
YouMail got all screwed up on me and sprint starting charging me for call forwarding. I was coming from a Pre and had youview working perfect but for some reason when I switched to the evo sprint didn't like it. In the end I paid like $3 in fees and sprint did take care of it.
