Question Bought a cheap Aio A08 mobile phone worked great, but now it doesn't allow incoming texts?

So what do you think makes it allow calls have good signal strength previously used texts fuss free but now just doesn't receive texts not even the o2 advert texts????

Isn't that a bit of a bizarre thing to happen?

Did you check with your mobile provider to see if the Aio A08 is compatible with their network?

Also id restore it to factory default settinsg but it requires a passowrd and I never made one

Well it was working for months before this happened, the moment I put the sim card in the texts were coming and they kept coming for months, now i can still call but no texts!?

Phones is funny things. They sometimes stop doing things for reasons not apparent to the user. The first thing to try is a Power Off & Restart.

Tried no luck, tried messing with alot of settings no luck either, switching to 3 g 5 g , sending texts to enquire my balance, airplane mode on and off, etc

Welcome to Android Central! Which messaging app are you using? Is it some stock SMS app from the manufacturer, or Google Messages, or something else?

And just to confirm -- you're not even receiving simple SMS messages (i.e., without photos attached, and not a group text)? Just want to see if this is an issue of not being able to receive MMS messages but still being able to get SMS.

No longer need help with this it was a cheap phone so I bought a new cheap phone and it works.
