Gave up on battery conservation techniques. Nothing that I could do, even Factory reset, would make this wonderful phone last even 8 or 9 hours. Unless I just stare at it and not use it but that's not why I have this phone. I use my phone.
So far, I love the Mophie. See how full day goes and post back.

I was looking into the mophie until I noticed that the speaker on the back is completely covered. True? If so, how's the sound, Ringtone volume and all? Thanks!

I got a morphie for Xmas and am very happy with it no speaker or sound issues at all and it's enough recharge to get me through the day

I've had a Mophie Juice Pack for about 4-5 months. It was excellent in the beginning but now doesn't come close to recharging to 80% capacity. 40% if I'm lucky. No sound issues.

First full day with the Mophie yesterday. Excellent. I'm a heavy phone user and probably more now that usually because I recently reset to factory so there's a lot of tweaking still going on, lol. Anyway I took it off charge at 5 am, streamed music at gym, facebooked, checked email, still tweaked some things, surfed a little, texted some, 1 phone call about 5 minutes, looked at some pix, random stuff throughout the day, stayed on WIFI. Keeping the screen down to about 1/2 and sync off, by 2:30 I was at 16%. I also run ATK so I do believe that helps some.
All I did was flip the switch on the back of the Mophie at 2:30 and I was back at 78% by 4:15. and that drained poor Mophie to zero.
Now, that was surely easy. But #1, I was expecting to get a full charge back from zero. That didn't happen. And #2, that took a long time to get from 16 to 78%. I was able to get back home and in the driveway at 6:00 with 50% remaining. So, that's workable..
That said, I enjoyed the first full day with Mophie. The case is cool looking, although somewhat slippery.
I can definatly see a place for these type cases. But before my two weeks is up at Best Buy, I'm going to be looking at similar cases on Amazon that have more mAh.
There's THIS one, but it has some build quality reviews that sort of steer me away, and no front speaker.
Then there's THIS one that is a good contender, but it also has some bad reviews on build quality. It has 3200mah. The Mophie has 2300 mah.
Both are considerably cheaper than a Mophie. But, maybe they're not as good of builds as the Mophie. The Mophie is very solidly built and seems like it's protecting my phone well. Buttons all work great. I love it except that I know there are others out there with more mah for much less $$.
There's a day with the Mophie for those looking. It's extremely convenient. Yes, it's even $80.00 convenient IF you use your phone a lot. If you just talk and text a little, naaa...you probably won't need it.
If any of you have battery charging cases like a Mophie, please post about them.
