Android Central Question
I bought a new phone 4 months ago. It has Android 11. Also it has 4/128 GB. I didn't install any android updates. When I look at the Storage, Android was at the beggining 17 GB and after 4 months is now 17.80 GB. That's about 800 MB increase. App size in Storage is 3,35 GB and that's all I need. I don't have any videos, music, games, large files... I mostly use my phone for web brosing with Chrome and watching YouTube. I've noticed that after browsing with Chrome or watching YouTube, App size in Storage increases because of app cache. But it is interesting that after browsing with Chrome or watching YouTube, Android OS size in Storage also increases. So for example if my Android size was 17,59 GB, after internet browsing it jumps to 17,65 GB. When I clear the cache of Chrome and YouTube, Android size gets back to previos value. It is also interesting that several days ago I forgot to turn off WiFi after internet browsing. I cleared the cache of Chrome and YouTube. Android size got back to 17,59 GB. WiFi stayed on during the night. When I woke up Android size increased from 17,59 GB to 17,80 GB. I again cleared the cache of Chrome and YouTube but Android size stayed 17,80 GB. I'm a little bit worried that Android size will continue to grow slowly and I can't do nothing about it.
