Bought one. A few small issues.

I now have two lock screens. The main default one and the swipe pattern I set up. Any suggestions?

I will get repeated text messages (the same one) especially if I reset the device.

I receive an SD card notification to "explore or eject". How do I atop this from showing up repeatedly?

The sd card message should only come up once each time you restart. If it annoys you too much, you can download package disabler from the play store and disable "system ui", which would get rid of the message. I would advise against it though.
