Ooookay. Bought a used galaxy S6 froma guy. Looks like he tried to reset it with a app or something? (booted to safe mode first time i booted it up.) When trying to boot to download mode it opens up a chinese or japanese or korean or something asian options menu (i assume a boot menu sort of thing) Annnnd yeah. won't recognise the 5.1.1 update. no option for it. Confused i am (came from apple.....).
It was being used on At&T go phone plans.

wanting to get marshmellow! But really just want a true factory reset. It seems like im missing features.... no quick launch to the camera.... No swype option in keyboard... just seems... off.
Idk what to do... can't even get it into downlaod mode ( yes i followed instructions. )
Hopefully somebody else has had this issue in the past

I feel like it's not even a proper s6 rom...but kinda is... doesn't seem custom though.
