It's blowing my mind...I bought the Rezound on Sunday and I was SO pumped. It was my 24th phone since I was 16 and I figured I would like it even more than my hands-down favorite, my DInc2. Well my friends, it didn't feel any faster, it was actually sluggish running Launcher Pro and Go Launcher, too tall for my hands, SO thick, and battery life not quite as good, even without the 4g. I tried it all day Sunday, Monday, and today. I finally decided to give it to my wife and go back to my Incredible 2, I missed it!

I'm rooted with Skyraider Zeus 1.3 and I adore my phone, use it quite a bit, unplug at 6:30am every morning and have about 30% at 10pm when I usually go to bed. If I stay up until 1am or so, it still lasts!

I was just really let down by the Rezound. The only reason I didn't go back to the Incredible 2 within the first hour was the truly beautiful screen. Better PPI than the iPhone 4 and a nice 4.3". I just want a Dinc2 with a higher resolution screen and I'll be set for life.

Anyways, thought I'd share.

I love mine too. The first thing I noticed on the Rezound was the thickness. I wondered if it came with a slightly extended battery but apparently its not. Weird. Sense 3.? Was fun to mess around with but I'm hooked on go launcher anyway so it doesn't matter.

How are the headphones?

Well I'm no audiophile...the headphones are pretty sweet but they're a bit big IMO for "ear"phones. I'll probably stick with my Sony's.

I discovered Go Launcher while using the Rezound for a few days because my go-to launcher "Launcher Pro" wouldn't run on my Rezound for some reason, even though others don't have that problem. Go Launcher is super awesome and if they get the screen transitions to be as buttery smooth as Launcher Pro I'll probably make the jump on Incredible 2 as well.

Yeah I had an upgrade ready and waiting and tried the big three Razr Resound and Gnex.....and well I'm still on my Dinc2. They just werent that much of an upgrade. My phone was actually faster then them or the same speed at the least.(This is all in my opinion I have no actual numbers to back me up)

It's a real let-down isn't it? Usually the day I buy a new phone is the closest I get to feeling like I did on Christmas morning when I was a kid, and it just didn't happen this time. I played with the Rezound a bit more last night and I'm 100% sure that it doesn't scroll, zoom, or change homescreen pages as smoothly as the Incredible. Those things are more important to me than a giant beautiful screen. Also the screen dimensions aren't good, it's like the same width as the Incredible but an inch taller, it's like a TV remote.

I font have the Rezound. I had the incredible. Its a nice phone. I have the thunderbolt and love it. Hands down the best I have had. I am a former wireless Rep and I absolutely love this phone
