Bought this Spiegen case and it sucks. Any other recommendations?

Depends on what you're looking to achieve; protection or aesthetics. Diztronic has good reviews on Amazon. I'm into protection and trying to decide between Urban Armor Gear and if a Ballistic one comes out.

I was not a fan of the Neo Hybrid either. However, I Iove my Ultra Hybrid case from Spigen. It is the best case I have found so far.

This one sucks. I can't seem to get a good grip on it and while pulling it out of my pocket today I sent it for a ride. No damage luckily.

Any other recommendations? Possibly something with a rubber exterior so I can get more grip? I'm debating coating the outside of this one in liquid rubber! :)

Ringke SLIM from Rearth.

I second the Ringke Slim and for a little extra protection the Ringke MAX is awesome as well. Both can be found on Amazon.

I'm back & forth between the Ringke Fusion and Spigen Ultra Hybrid. Both similar types of cases. Today's my first day with the Nexus so I'm trying one today and maybe I'll try the other tomorrow.

I love and hate this case..... It is such a great looking case and great form factor.. but mine (Gun Metal) is super slick and mine very easily scratched all up on the back after just a couple of days on my desk and counter at home....

I ended up trying out 5 different cases and I am torn between the Rinkle Slim and the Diztronic TPU... Only thing I don't like about Diztronic is the camera cut out is considerably bigger than the camera lens exposing a lot of the blue on the phone under the black case... They sent me an email and then a replacement saying specifically the camera cut out was wrong.. and the new/replacement was just as bad... I can't even tell the difference between them..

I wish the Max only had the "M" cut out and not the whole Nexus clear spot.... Then I would have at least got it to try it....

I really don't have any complaints about the Spiegen one I have... it's mostly the lack of grip! I tried to pull it out of mypocket this morning to answer a call, and in my effort to avoid touching the screen and accidentally picking up/hanging up, I was grabbing it by the edges and it "popped" out of my hand and went flying. No damage luckly. Just looking for something more grippy. I LOVE LOVE LOVE my Otterbox Defender for my Galaxy S3. All rubber exterior and very grippy. This thing might as well be teflon coated!

Thanks for all the advice!

I have the same case and think it's awesome. To each their own I guess.

I liked it.... My only issue I had was the power button rattled a lot.. I ended up using some rubber cement on the inside to tighten it up a little and keep it from rattling and it's golden....

I have the same ultra hybrid case from spigen but find I'm always pushing the wrong button because the way the case has them grouped together. Do you have that same problem?

I did have that problem at first. I have been using the case for a little over two weeks now and my hand just kind of goes to the right place now it seems lately. So just took a while to get used to it for me at least.

Yes! Good luck getting it out of your pocket to answer a call without either, pressing one of the side buttons, or touching the screen and potentially hanging up on the person!

The Neo-hybrid isn't bad but not my favorite either. It comes apart too easy and is hard to get the outer piece totally seated to the TPU piece, and secured around the phone. They make a much better one for the Note 4. My favorites are the Slim fit and Air cushion (Ultra Hybrid).

I just got the Ringke FUSION, clear. Fits very well. Buttons actually make a click when pressed, on the Spigen Ultra Hybrid case, I never could tell if I hit the buttons. The best part of the FUSION is the back. The indentation that goes around the Nexus wording, makes the phone sit flatter. Doesn't bounce around, if at all, when using the phone on a flat surface. The port covers are useless to me. The phone is water resistant, so why be bothered by having to close the covers.

The Spigen Ultra hybrid case wasn't manufactured well, in my opinion. There is a ridge that runs the entire way around the case from the molding process. My fingers touch it constantly. I couldn't wait to get rid of it.

I have the Midnight Blue N6 and will always wonder if I should have gotten the White. So I got the Ringke Fusion clear case with mint edging and it's beautiful. Makes me smile.

I ordered a Moko knock off of the iBlason dual layer case with a bent clip. It is not thick and protects very well

i'm attempting to use liquid-rubber spray to cover the outside of the Spigen Hybrid I have :) Hopefully that gives it more grip. I'll let you know how it turns out.
