A few months ago I had friends over for dinner. I made a bouillabaisse for them. When one of them asked for the recipe I told her she could just search online for it, as I did. I had used a PC, but I pulled out my phone and tried to show her how easy it was. I just did a voice search, and was instantly frustrated. No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't get Google now to come up with "Bouillabaisse" when I spoke it. My phone was an HTC One-X running Jellybean 4.2 (now 4.3 and it still doesn't work).
My Nexus seven also fails to find "Bouillabaise" with a voice search (JB & KK). I've tried pronouncing it BOOL-YA-BASE, BOOL-YA-BAZE and the apparently correct "Bwee-ah-bay-ssssss" (Pronunciation of bouillabaisse - how to pronounce bouillabaisse correctly.).
Some results I have seen:
The real frustration: I declared it un-searchable, whence my friend's daughter pulled out her i-phone and it found it on the first try. Does Google have something against fish stew? Or French cuisine?
I periodically try to search for this and have never had success. I thought I'd throw it open to a greater range of devices. Does anyone have an android device that succeeds in this voice search. Oh, yes, one more thing: my phone is set up for US English. So perhaps a phone set up for a native French speaker would have no problems with this.

Some results I have seen:
- booty base (most often)
- bully base (also bully at base)
- wheelbase (also wheelies and weedee)
- bullet base
