BP 2.0

BP 2 has been available for the Active 2 for a while; the news was that they added official support for the GW3.

Biggest drawback I see from the app is that, although it's the 'official' blood pressure app sanctioned by Samsung... it doesn't connect to Samsung Health, so any reading you get from the BP Lab app, stays there (you have to manually type each record on Health if you wanna keep track there).

The real big drawback is that you need to constantly calibrate it with a cuff unit to establish a baseline.

Ummm... I don't recall having to recalibrate every time... I think the layout on the watch was weird (so it makes you think that you do need to calibrate) but you can always get a reading directly or from the app without re-calibrating.

Well, I have and I've seen complaints about it in the Samsung members forum

For those of us who use metal link bands, this app will likely never be of any use. I'm not going to hold my watch against my wrist just to get a BP reading. Have already tried that and it will not read. Want an accurate reading? Use a cuff.

Um...

It works with a metal band. And it correlates quite well with a cuff, once you calibrate the watch against a cuff.
