Sprint sent me a brand new E4g touch yesterday and before i started loading all my crap back onto it i wanted to update to ics.. why not its a brand new phone and should have no issues.

I went in to update it and it says its already updated.. my android version is 2.3.6.. so its old.

i did a factory reset and it still says its fully updated.

anyone help me out without having to go to sprint store and waste 2 hours??

Have you called Sprint CS and see if they can help???

You have 2 options then...

Call a head and make an appointment for a time that will work for you. Most Sprint service centers are good with keeping their appointments.

Or

Get a sd card, you can get them relatively cheap and they are a good investment.

You can even go the route of rooting your phone and installing a custom rom... From what I've read about the official OTA it kind of sucks anyway. Lots of new bugs. But again you'll need a sd card so.....

Check fry's if you have one near you or best buy then go to amazon and they will price match. I've seen the Samsung class 10 32gb at Fry's for 32.99 and the 16gb for 16.99. Best buy will price match to I just go to the store see how much a new one is on amazon and show the clerk and they match it. I got my Samsung class 10 16gb which is shock and waterproof for 24.99 but you can get crazy deals if you don't want a class 10 series.
