Brand new to the s4. discover apps stoppage.

I am brand new to the s4, what are the Sprint-Discover apps? and why does my phone keep freezing and a screen pops up and states there was a problem with those apps? Where can I find those apps and delete them if possible. It's becoming quite annoying. Thank you ahead of time for any help.

You most likely can't delete the apps, but you should be able to freeze them.
