Brand Spanking new Note 3, lots of force stops, why!

Hey guys, I literally just got this phone ( moved from iphone ). I am instantly in love, but I am suffering some severe force stops. For example in settings as soon as I touch lock screen wake up commands my phone just freezes and force stops. Every single time, even after restarting the device. Anybody have any idea what the deal is here? Its pretty frustrating, I cant even set up the device.

Have you migrated any data to your device? If not, considering the phone is relatively new, I'd go ahead and restore your phone. If the problem continues, time to get a replacement, just in case they run out of stock.

Go into manage apps and shut off samsung push service and see if that helps. Had the same issue the other day, shut it off and phones been fine

I am pretty ignorant to android considering I just get this beast, but does restoring it erase everything? Including contacts?

I did this, force stop still persists when I touch "wake up in lock screen" from settings. This is the weirdest thing.

the only thing i guess you can considering migrating is synching my calender, but that is it.

I would do a factory reset then. It will erase everything, but once you sign back into google, everything should restore.
