Brick problem?

So I've had this happen to me both before and after the update so I believe this is a hardware issue and not a software issue.

A few days ago, my phone mysteriously turned off. It would not turn back on, I could not get it to charge, I couldn't get anything out of it. It was, effectively, bricked. I pulled the battery and, of course, it worked once more and just as well as it had before. Since I had the "defective" MR1 update installed on my phone, I assumed this was just a tiny issue that would be resolved with the next update (I had, after all, only had one random reboot since I bought the phone on launch day). However, after updating the phone a few days ago, this random "brick" happened again today. Is this a common problem? Should I get a replacement from Verizon?

The exact same thing happened to me. I opened a thread yesterday explaining what happened to mine, please read and let me know if the same happened to you. My TB was working perfect before the update.

sounds to be a hardware failure. I would go get a replacement

This has happened to me a couple of times, I think, also before the MR2 update. It's a little hard to tell because you can't always tell when the power switch has been activated. I was not too concerned by this. Some freeze problems, it seems, can only be fixed by a battery pull, and not just a reboot. But if it happens frequently, I would have the phone replaced.
