Bricked Incredible??

Please Help me

I'm pretty sure i have bricked my Incredible. Somehwere in the process of trying to root to the new 2.2 release i have royally messed up

I have tried everything:

I have done many factory resets...i've gone into nandroid and tried recovery from there...i;ve tried the clearing all the data and that wont work

Among others, i keep getting "can't mount data/chache...etc"

It keeps boot looping over and over into an old cyanogen mod but it never turns on

CAN ANYONE HELP?!

It's not bricked if you can get into recovery. Sounds like you may have put a bad kernel on top of 2.2. Have you flashed one of the 2.05 or 2.15 baseband radios? IE the Leaked OTA's that you are supposed to have done BEFORE going to Cyanogen or any 2.2 ROM for that matter?

I would highly suggest getting a 2.2 stock ROM. Mount your SD storage in recovery. Plug your phone into the computer, push the ROM zip to your SD card and flash a different ROM. That should fix your phone. All this can be done from clockworkmod.

Okay im a little more optimistic

How to I mount if I can't get out of recovery. I do keep getting. "Unable to mount messages" but is their another way to mount while in recovery.

Sorry for sounding like such a noon but u JUST came over to DI from mu droid. Also, I can't tell you what was on the phone or what wadine with ut because I bought it rooted with some weird Cyanogrn nightly builon it

The main thing i see is that every time i try to install a ZIP from SD card i get a message that says installation aborted can't mount data cant mount cache, cant mount....etc

Any solutions

is your sd card formated to fat32?
