Bricked phone, verizon sending new. Need to erase root evidence

I need to erase all root evidence on my phone, but the problem is the phone continuously restarts so i cant unroot it. they said on the phone that as long as the phone in genially messed up and its not my fault they will replace it. I would like to make it that you can not access ANYTHING in the phone. Any ideas wold be greatly appreciated and greatly needed.

You could disassemble it and format the internal sd card haha

Seriously fastboot oem lock and then run the stock RUU. Verizon doesn't really care about what's on the phone, just that you're not rooted. And honestly when you send it in, I don't think they even notice that.

I said in another post that I believe they just flash the phone to stock and then troubleshoot whatever you said is the problem from there.

It is easier to troubleshoot from a known position (stock) then from an unknown position (straight from the customer).

That is why they think a factory reset will cure all.

now it is rooted and after a flashed a custom rom, it is just restarting and i have no clue how to unroot so they will be able to figure that part out. And i am not able to re-lock the phone because it wont stay usable for more than 10 seconds before restarting

if it will not stay on for ten seconds I wouldnt worry about it. They will not have enough time to tell if it is rooted and unlocked.

IF you are seriously worried about it. Find a rezound boot.img. Use adb to start to push it to the phone. About halfway through, pull out the battery. Instabrick, the thing will not fire up at all

Wait, do you mean it won't stay in Android for more than 10 second or won't stay on period? Bootloops on the Rezound are usually network related. Try booting into HBOOT(power down, then power on holding power and volume down) if that stays on(which it should) then likely the phone will work for them as they won't have the LTE SIM in when they test it.

I got my new phone so noww i have to send back my old one. i tried relocking the phone and it was suscessful, but the only screen i can access is hboob. repowering the phone, battery pull, or recovery all just restart the phone back into Hboot.if it comes to it i will push the adb and instabrick it. I have no experiance with adb and pushing boot image though.

First off, how do you get into hbooB....I want some of that...just kidding.

If you need help with bricking, and you shouldnt worry about it at this point, I have becoe an expert recently. I just bricked 2 in a row testing something

Yes i need some serious help bricking haha. I dont want a chance of them knowing it was rooted, and sorry about the typo lol
