Device: Lenovo Tab M8 (4th Gen)

Issue:
Brightness increases to the maximum whenever there is a light/white or mostly light/white image being displayed on the screen, even if adaptive brightness is disabled.
This happens in ANY app, including the device SETTINGS itself.

What I've tried (none helped):
  1. Adaptive Brightness ON or OFF
  2. Eye Protection Mode ON or OFF
  3. Reading Mode ON or OFF
  4. Battery save ON or OFF
  5. Color Temperature ANY of them
This is extremely annoying, and I'm this close to throwing this blasted tablet in this trash. So I REALLY hope anyone can help me fix this issue.

Thank you.

Clear the cache for what? As I said: "This happens in ANY app, including the device SETTINGS itself."

Also, that article doesn't apply to my device, I don't have any way to clear the cache for all apps anyway.

After I reread everything, that would be a wasted move, if it were possible.
I do think it may be your ambient light sensor picking up the extra nits from the screen while viewing a light / bright pic

I don't think this is the issue either. As I said, adaptive brightness was disabled. So even if it did pick up the extra light, it should've done nothing. I also tested this further by covering the sensor area with a sticker, and the issue still occurred.
