Broken CNN widgets

I installed the CNN app when it came out, and just last night the widgets for it crashed. I had two of them on one of my pages, taking up half of the screen, and now they are gone. However, the spots on the backgound are still taken up. They appear blank, but I can't put any new widgets or apps where they used to be. I tried uninstalling CNN and restarting my Xoom, but they are still there. Has anyone else experienced this and know how to did it?

Mine work here and there. You just have to remove them even though you cannot see them on the home screen.

Mine work, try shutting down and restarting.

How do you remove them if I can't see them?

Edit: never mind, I figured it out. I didn't realize I could do that. Thanks. I assumed they weren't really there anymore and that's what was confusing me.

IV had the same issue. I will cover one page it 4 widgets from CNN and if the app fc all 4 disapear. I haven't tried rebooting but I know if you long press where they should be you can pick them up and read them. Guess its a bug that the dev will have to work out.

i installed the CNN app but can't load any of the widgets..

..its as if the widgets didn't get installed
