Broken nexus 4

I dropped my nexus 4 in a puddle and it is barely functioning. I would like to know if its advisable to buy a new android phone (note 3, sgs4, HTC one etc) or wait. I know the note 3 is new but I've tried it out and I hate the feel of the thing. What should I do now?

What are your options? If you can wait, wait for the Nexus 5, if you can't, get another one via swappa.

I could possibly wait for new phones next year - I have a Nokia 2610 brick phone I could unlock and feasibly use until then, it'd be a pain and I'd have to use my iPad a lot more.

Is stock Android very important to you? Out of the phones you mentioned, only the HTC One and the Samsung Galaxy S4 have Google Play editions. However, they are also more expensive than the Nexus 4.

In the end, I plumped for a Nexus 5 16GB in Black which I got from Carphone Warehouse unlocked yesterday. Loving it so far - vastly better than my mates' SGS4s & Note 3s!
