I'm posting this for my friend...

Anyway he was working on his truck and it slipped off the Jack with him under it...he made it out okay but his phone is done!!!!! He has

Top-Tier total equipment protection -
$8 insurance premium and $3 service/repair

Will Sprint fix his phone without costing him anything???

Any help would be extraordinarily appreciated

What's the point of having the insurance if it doesn't cover the screen

The insurance is there so he won't have to pay full price for a new phone when something happens, that's all.

Insurance is great for covering basic common things that break or get worn out like buttons or speakers.

Cracked displays is where they lost all their money and consumers in the past took advantage of the warranty purposely breaking/cracking screens to get a new phone.

Can't fix it. Literally. The display is fused to the front glass. The cost to replace it would be the same cost to get a brand new one from them with the deductible.

Checked on Sprint's site, and it's $100 regardless. If he reports it broken, they'll want the device. Lost, and they'll blacklist the esn so it'll be useless.
