Broken Otterbox defender and no warrenty! HELP!

So long story short, i was wearing the holster, it got caught on something and the belt clip broke off sending my SG3 down a ladder tearing up the rubber and cracking the top left of the defender case itself. (phone is in great condition) i got back to the work truck and removed the case to survey the damage and left the phone in the truck. anywhoo... i remembered to take the phone home but left the case. now i dont know where the case is, and otterbox is asking for the 4 digit code from inside all 3 pieces of the case. i showed receipt but they want that code...

Any help?

Re-trace your steps and hope that the case is in your work truck. Who would have access to the truck besides you?

Everyone! everyday i get a different truck. the specific one i had is about 7 hours away now and the driver (who is a good friend says it isnt in there)

Does someone service the truck prior to it going out? It sounds like you need to chalk it up to experience and get a new one at your expense if it does not turn up.
