broken pic when using camera from lock screen

So I bought a 32 Gb Kingston micro sd HC memory card for my galaxy s 4. Anyways whenever I take a picture using the camera from the lock screen it will take it and when I go to my gallery it shows the broken image. I formatted the card first day I got it and noticed that the only way this will work is if I unlock the phone, open up camera, wait a second then take the pictire. Has anyone else had this issue? I'm running the latest software and not rooted.
