I have no clue what happened to my s3. it was 103 degrees today and I had left my phone on a table about 6 feet away from my pool and went swimming. when I later got out my phone would not turn on. I think it was over heated or had water damage. when I would stick a charger into my phone a red light would show without a battery and when I would put a battery in the light would disappear. I dont know what is happening to my phone. I have had it for 9 months and it has been cracked for 8 months and I have a replacement battery. even the power button wouldnt acitvate my phone. there is no signs of water damage behind the battery. what do I do?

You need to put it in a zip lock bag of rice for 48 hours...not overnight. Don't turn on or you can mess it up worse

IMHO it sounds like it overheated. I'm sure by now its working again. I've seen this happen with other devices after being left in sunlight. Good luck.
