Broken Samsung S2 but need pictures and videos...

Hello! I have a broken samsung s2 thats pretty broken. Doesn't work at all, the screen is completely damaged. The charger area is also completely damaged. It was thrown down very hard... But anyways, I was wondering if it was at all possible to extract any files from it like pictures and videos? Like maybe could i take the main board (is it called the mother board? or is that just computer talk... i dunno) and connect or place it to another samsung note 2 phone? It seems the inside of it is completely fine. Is this at all possible? I am pretty desperate to have these pictures and videos.... It's all of my daughter and her first few months since being born. And if I don't get these pictures... I won't have any baby pictures of her at all....... Please someone tell me there is a way to get these pictures/videos.... :''''''(

Welcome to Android Central, and sorry to hear about the phone mishap. I have read other posts where people have described taking their busted phones to a cellphone specialist to salvage data from the internal storage, so your best bet is to call some local cellphone repair shops to see if they can do it.

And just to be certain--you're sure the photos and videos weren't stored on an external SD card that's still inserted in the phone, right?
