Broken screen

Couple weeks ago my Thrive's screen cracked in half. It hasn't fallen apart and the touch screen still works and displays everything perfectly so it seems to be just cosmetic damage really. I was wondering if their was anything I can do to help prevent the damage from getting worse. Any suggestions?
