Hello folks, I've been lurking around here as I've learned how to root my Thunderbolt. With all the great stuff I found, I've taken a phone I wanted to smash off the ground many times, to a phone I can't put down.

Now the problem...

I actually DID smash the phone (On accient, I swear!) and the LCD is completely hosed. I've gotten a relacement phone and wish to get rid of the old busted one.It still works, just dead LCD.

My question is, does anyone have a good/easy way to clear my personal data from the phone without being able to see anything? It is still rooted if that helps. I can of course use my other T-Bolt as a sorta guide for certin things too.

Can I take a regular ROM file (in my case Liquid GingerSense 1.2) and rename it to the PG05IMG.zip and go in to HBOOT? Or is that only for radios?

If I just choose Factory Reset from HBOOT, will that keep the current ROM installed only without data? Or will it take it back to the icky stock ROM (Complete with non-updated radio?)

Any ideas would be great and appriciated! Thank you!

If u download the tbolt unroot kit and take the pgoimgstock file and delete the stock part put that on the SD card and then flash that like u would a radio. It take if bolt back to the way it left the factory. And make sure u take care of this new bolt I would recommend a.outterbox so when u get frustrated with it rebooting u can chuck against the ground and it will be fine .
