That is normal sprint lte speeds when the network is fresh. You can find Texas ones like that.. So.. Not that ridiculous.

I think you getting that 4g service from the 125 area. When Wimax 4g was being deploy i was getting excellent coverage around the 125th st area before it even reached the bx

I don't know about Brooklyn or Queens. I know the Bronx is being deployed now.

Some parts of Manhattan have LTE. I think it's Midtown tho

I'm in Manhattan every day and drive through mid town and never seen 4G. I went over to Cruger and Burke and sure enough enough 4G but the speeds were horrible.. The download was like 800kbps and it was so slow the upload didn't even start. When I was on cross Bronx I saw a 4G spot as well didn't get to test speed though as I was driving.. I hope the speed I got o, Cruger and Burke isn't going to be. I get 1.5 - 2.5mbps down in Manhattan on 3g and about 1.5mbps where I live. I'm right off Boston road in Pelham Manor right before fairway

It won't be that slow. The market hasn't officially launched. As sprint said sure you'll see it before launch because of testing but it won't be optimal speeds at all times. Once the market is officially launched you should see a nice improvement in speeds and the network will be a lot more stable.
