Brother unlocked my phone with his fingerprint?!

Hello folks, yesterday my brother was checking out my phone and joking around saying "watch I'm gonna unlock your phone". First couple of times didn't work but then it worked. I was like wtf. I double checked if I turned off lock but no it was locked. He tried again and after a few tries it worked again. I immediately deleted all my fingerprints and redid it. Is this a security issue/fault?

For the record I had just got the phone and set up the scanner so he had no opportunity with ny phone beforehand.

Also I had battery saver on so idk of that contributed to anything. After redoing fingerprints and turning off batter saver he tried like 5-7 times and it never worked.

I really don't think this would have been possible unless he registered his fingerprint at some point (which would explain why after re-registering yours his didn't work anymore).

Most likely scenario is that he got hold of your device while it was unlocked and trained a finger without you knowing. He's pranking you.

If I'm not mistaken, he'd have to know whatever fallback security method you use to add his finger, so you might want to change your code or pattern lock, too.
