Sad to see that HTC are discontinuing their browser app this month and are putting an intrusive message up from time to time when the app is opened. I have found the HTC browser to be one of the best things about the M9. Text reflow is a great feature, sadly missing on other browsers. I have tried Chrome and Opera and don't like them (Opera especially). I want to keep using the HTC browser, unsupported or not, so does anyone know if there's any way to stop that darned message coming up -- or will the browser not even function after support ends?
I really hope they don't discontinue the HTC Gallery app next, since this works far better on the M9 than the alternatives as it scans the images (taken on the phone) as it loads them, making them much sharper and showing more detail than other viewer apps such as Google's.
I have seen online reviews of the HTC 10 claiming HTC stopped supplying their own apps in favour of Google's apps since these are better. It's clear to me that is nonsense however -- HTC's browser and gallery app offer big usability improvements on the M9 over the Google alternatives.
