Browser History Not Clearing

I use the default browser ("internet" icon) on my Incredible to access the web. I have tried clearing the history by Menu>More>History and clearing the "history" and clearing the "most visited". But.... if I hit the back capacitive button it will go back to the previous web pages I have viewed. It shouldnt be able to do this is in fact it had cleared the history. Is there a better way to remedy this?

What about clearing your cache from Setting\Application.

Instead of going straight to history while you're in your browser press menu go to settings then scroll down it will show options like clear all cookie data, clear cache, clear history, and clear form data just tap one of those options and it'll ask you if you want to clear it.
