I have searched and have found a lot of comments with the same problem, but haven't found an answer yet. My browser now capitalizes every word and does not auto space. Anyone have a fix for this?

First, your title says this is your "Browser keyboard"... your keyboard is your keyboard. It is not different when you are texting or using Gmail or your browser... it should be the same keyboard. Go into Settings > Language & input > what is your "Default" keyboard? Android keyboard (AOSP) or Swype? Those are two stock keyboards loaded on your device?

Next, once you know that... go back to the main Settings > Apps > swype left to get to the All tab > find the keyboard you have as the default > push it > push the "Clear cache" button, then "Clear data". I'd reboot just to be sure everything is cleared out... then try it again. This should clear any settings that are associated with your default keyboard.

I know the keyboard is the keyboard, but it only does this in the browser. Texting, email, etc is all fine. I have cleared swype's cache, cleared browser cache, and even formatted the cache partition to no luck.

I am having the SAME exact problem. Typing/swyping into the browser is hellish. Anybody with a solution?

Very weird bug. What I'd suggest for now is to turn off Auto-capitalization for Swype and manually hit the space bar between words when Swyping in the browser. Hopefully Moto will patch this in a future update.

Also, did you try the stock browser? I have the stock browser and Chrome on my device... plus you might SwiftKey keyboard if you just have to have that swipe type keyboard... which I'm using right now to type this.

Unfortunately, the problem occurs in the stock browser.

I haven't tested it on Chrome--does the problem occur there? It actually isn't a big deal for me, because I don't often enter a lot of text via webpages. I actually prefer the stock Browser to Chrome because it's much less memory-intensive, seems to me just as fast if not faster than Chrome, has the same ability to sync bookmarks with desktop Chrome, and has the nice Quick Controls nav ring that you can access by swiping in from the side. The weird Swyping glitch is minor to me.

I have noticed that in my browser, I have trouble when trying to choose the correct word. I puts the correct word inside of the word I want changed.

How has this not been fixed yet???? Motorola knows this is not an isolated issue on a few phones. This is driving me crazy. I use the stock Browser for Facebook because the Facebook app is a little crappy now.......It doesn't update Newsfeed with new stuff, seems slow. But the auto-cap and no auto-space are ridiculous. This is only happening in Browser, though I have seen others post it happens in a bunch of other browsers. I prefer Chrome on my PC, but Chrome on my Maxx seems slow to pull up even simple static pages compared to the stock Browser.

My guess for why it hasn't been fixed yet is that it's a problem with Swype that's baked into the official ROM. In order to fix it, we'd need an official OTA update, which means it would have to go through Verizon, which we all know takes a while to approve and release.

Anyone know if Swiftkey works normally in Browser? Because if it does, then that might be a decent alternative for now.

I use nothing but SwiftKey and have experienced no problem. I find it superior in every way.

Well then there you go--there's the solution right there!
