Browser refresh on multitask

Why in the world does the browser reload the page when I navigate away from the page and then back to it again? It's infuriating! What's the point of multitasking if the page is just going to reload every time I switch back to the browser?

Are other people having this issue? My phone is stock; no rooting or craziness. Just a few apps installed. It does this in both the stock browser and the dolphin browser and it's driving me nuts. I'll be reading an article on the browser, switch to Pandora to change a song (or restart it), then switch back to the browser and the page completely reloads. Every time.

I don't have that issue, but how about page load progress pausing if I switch from the browser to a newe email via the notifications pane......

Try this:
1. Go into 'Settings'
2. Then into 'Developer options'
3. Then scroll to the last three under 'APPS' and make sure 'Don't keep activities' is unchecked.
