Wasn't as much of a speed test as it was a Flash 10.1 test ;)

Now show the TB's LTE vs the iPhone only using Verizon's uber-slow 3G, so that everybody can see what really counts

Good video. I thought it was going to be the TB using LTE and the iPhone using 3g, to emphasize the difference in speeds, but it was good video none the less.

Actually it did not really compare the phones in any meaningful way.

For one thing, the brightness was cranked on the iPhone while the HTC was in powersaver mode (it's pretty obvious). Put them both at full brightness and you'll see the two displays are not really that different.

Plus, he should have done one more thing on the TB (which you cannot do on the iPhone). Double tap the text and it automatically resizes and reflows to the screen for easy reading (no need to scroll both side to side and up and down).

If they are going to go to all the effort of making videos, give more detail.

Agreed. Also, that dude sounds like my grandpa. But his hands looks really young. He must use Gold Bond.

Exactly. Compare the browsers both for speed and for functionality. When you do that Pocket Safari comes off badly (the only browser it still beats is the BB Browser as the WP7 browser is decently fast and has more functionality than Pocket Safari).

What purpose does it serve to show load speed of two devices RUNNING ON THE SAME WIFI NETWORK?!?! Clearly he knows nothing about bandwidth. smh

Wirefly is not a blog site. They are a third party retailer for cell providers. It is still a VERY GOOD question. I have wondered that, too...

That's what I was wondering. And doesn't the brand or carrier usually ask the reviewer to wait till a certain day to publish their review?

yeah, i mean it wouldnt suprise me if some blog sites have the thunderbolt but cant show anything, but this dufus is just makin videos left an right with it an not really putting out solid or correct info. i mean wifi testing the browsers lol

an still my fav comment by him. "i wasnt really sure that is was goin to ship with the kickstand"
