Bubble notifications not working

I have it enabled after the Android 11 update, however I still am not receiving bubble notifications for text messages or messenger notifications. I have watched a video to try to figure out what I'm doing wrong. I'd really like to get this to work since it is more convenient than having to pull the notification menu down to access messages. Anyone else having this issue?

I had this problem and posted an almost identical topic earlier today. Sign up for and install the beta version of Google Messenger. Once I did that, they started working.

I have it fixed now. I was using. Message+ which is not compatible with chat bubbles. Went to the default Samsung messages app and that one does utilize chat bubbles. Still might take a peak at the Google messenger app to see if there are any differences. Default Samsung messenger does get the job done though.

The chat bubbles work on Google Messenger . Go into Messenger setting select " All" or "Selected" . If you use "Selected" when you get a text you want to be a bubble, in notifications hit the down arrow for the text and there will be a little like on switch click it and then you'll see the bubble on your desktop. Sorry if the instructions are a little iffy . I figured it out this morning and I'm trying to remember what I did. It's been a long day.

I have the bubbles working for Facebook Messenger and I switched from Samsung messages to Google and I do not get bubbles and I have it set for all and it's not working. and I read the clear cache and data but does that mean I'll have to set everybody up again with special ringtones and redo all my settings!

Edit: I cleared my cash but not my data cuz I was afraid to yet and then all the sudden I sent myself a test message and I saw a bubble in Google messages so it's working now.
